RUN is a movie i first caught on cable TV one night in the early 00's. It was a bizzare film that had so many plot flaws that it just made the movie awesome.

Patrick Dempsey plays a guy who has the simple task of delivering a flash sports car to another state. Along the way he decides to stop off at a poker game where he ends up winning a few $$, but accidentally causes the death of a Mafia crime boss' son. This then continues into a persuit of cat and mouse as Patrick tries to flee the city, but somehow seems to cause absolute distruction along the way.

Lucily for Patrick, a smarter than smart Police officer realises that none of this desctruction makes any sense, and decides to spend more time figuring out what is actually going on, rather than just stopping our Patty cake. It all then comes down to a magnificent and completely unrealistic finale that just adds to the sheer awesomeness of this movie.

RUN is one of those 'serious' movies that throws laugh after laugh. The stars all play very good parts that have been acted out well. But it still finds time to be cheesy, and thats not a bad thing. Its a fun movie to watch, and if you havent seen it then i recommend you do. Its recently been released on DVD in certain territories, but id like to see someone put out a special edition. Sadly, because the movie is relatively unknown then i doubt that will happen.
