Super VIB Famiclone

Here we have the Super VIB Famiclone released in 2019 that includes vibration joypads. Its a new age style clone where the circuitry seems to be professionally printed as opposed to the fire hazzard clones we saw throughout the early millenium years. It features 2 x USB-C type joypad sockets and is powered by 5v via a mini-usb socket. Sadly this version only includes AV output to the TV but the image is quite clear running on a 1080p 42" screen. The overall design is quite sturdy and features a transparent shell and the joypads (although quite small) are comfortable to use. The pads themselves feature 6 buttons, however, 2 of these buttons have no functionality and there are no traces for them on the board so mabe this will be a feature in future models. The other 4 buttons operate as the 2 x standard nes A/B buttons & then 2 x rapid fire buttons.

The most impressive thing about the design of this famiclone is the fact that it fits in the palm of your hand, making it an easy to transport devivce, or something that can fit snugly behind the tv set.

As you can see the board is very nicely layed outand well made which is something were seeing on a more regular basis with famiclones of today. However one strange thing about this clone (which im assuming is a design fault) is that control pad 1 & 2 sockets are in the wrong position.

One neat feature is that the joypads include a rumble feature that works with 30 different nes games included on the system. Various operations will make the pads vibrate which gives a more interactive feel.

The board itself is labelled the Retro Game TV V1.1 and dated 2019 - 6 - 11 .

Overall its a pretty decent famiclone with a great selection of 169 games. It can be found for as little as £10 and for that price its its a bargain. Sadly it doesnt include a cartridge slot but for what you get in the box its a clone system id recommend.
